Editorial Review
Taking its name from the North Melbourne backstreet it proudly resides on, The Leveson is a bar, beer garden and restaurant. Fashionable and up-market but not at all pretentious, you can rub shoulders with the corporate clientele in the daylight and the locals of an evening. Sit outdoors kerbside, in the beer garden with its own bar, or in the modern dining room with polished floorboards, high ceilings and relaxed yet efficient service. For the sport enthusiast a large screen television dominates the front bar accompanied by live acoustic sets on a Sunday.
The menu at The Leveson is designed around satisfying each and every customer's individual culinary desires. Start with an entree of garlic and pepper calamari on fragrant rice with sweet soy dressing, or their namesake traditional Caesar salad with either chicken or smoked salmon. Follow with a main of chargrilled rib eye steak on candied bacon mash with barbecue mushroom salad and horseradish butter, or the acclaimed chicken parmigiana with chips, rocket, tomato and baby mozzarella salad. Finish with the sticky date pudding with butterscotch sauce and vanilla ice-cream. The Leveson is fully licensed and offers a great selection of local and imported beers.
